Named for the Lancaster County Woodcarvers founder, this annual award is voted on by club members and presented to a member who promotes the hobby, advocates the best interests of the club, shares their knowledge with others, and endeavors to improve their woodcarving skills. Carving Club Meetings and Events

OUR PASSION

We're passionate about wood carving! We support one another and enjoy reaching out to the community to share that passion to keep the art of wood carving alive. Our members, ranging from beginners to seasoned carvers, have partnered with Lancaster County Parks to offer beginning wood carving instruction for adults and we also teach woodcarving skills to local homeschool groups. Each year we carve holiday ornaments for Hospice of Lancaster, and we often display our work and represent the club at local festivals and events.

Plus, every March we sponsor a wood carving show - Wonders in Wood. Nearly 100 carvers, artists, crafters and vendors come together for a fun weekend to share their work and celebrate wood carving. The show is open to the public, and we warmly invite you to join us!

We look forward to meeting you!
