MDA Campfire

On June 17, 2007 LCW was invited to a campfire for children with Muscular Dystrophy. Ann and George Reinfried, Marianne and Andy DiPace went to the first night dinner and the campfire. We brought some small carvings for the kids and Dan Finney had carved a large (about 18" tall) figure that would be presented to one of the children as a trophy.

In spite of their physical restrictions the kids found enjoyment in everything. Including unorganized wheel chair races. They sped around in the pavilion laughing and have a good time, with out even one single bump or crash.
