Andrew's Page
Picture frame made of Wavy Cherry, with Birds Eye Maple inlay, and a relief
carving of a Calla Lily. The frame was made as a birthday gift for my wife.
"5 to Midnight". The Santa is from a
pattern out of Woodcarving Illustrated, I just let my mind wander for the rest
of the piece.
The above two pieces won second place Novice at the 2006 show.
Two Nativities made as Christmas gifts.
"Campsite Bandit" the little thief stole a back pack and helped himself to lunch. Luckily he got his foot caught in the door (one of the shoulder straps).
"Angel Keepsake Box" blocks of Bass wood were glued to the box (Bass
wood) then carved to form clouds. The Angel is a Christmas ornament that was
glued down, then carved. The box is lined with red velvet, and it was a
Christmas gift for my wife Marianne.
A few of my Christmas ornaments.
The Lions Relief won Second Place "Best of Class, Novice" at the 2008
Show.
The Angel won second place "Best of Category, Caricatures, Novice" at
the 2008 Show.
